Who can use Rec Soccer?
Rec Soccer is for adults aged 20 and over.
Can I play if I don't have a team?
Choose supported facilities near you and respond when a team needs a sub, without committing to a full season. You can also create a free-agent profile so captains can find you. Team or sub fees may apply. Ways to play.
Is Rec Soccer free?
Players and captains use the app for free. League registration, team dues, and sub fees are separate and depend on where you play. Rec Pro and cosmetics are optional. Pricing.
Where can I use it right now?
Rec Soccer is live at two indoor facilities in the Cincinnati, Ohio area, and we run our own outdoor league on rented turf at Blue Ash Sports Center. Somewhere else? Tell us where you play. The places people ask for most are where we launch next.
Is it on iPhone and Android?
Rec Soccer is on Google Play for Android and works in any browser at recsoccer.app/app. The iPhone app is waiting on App Store review; until it's out, iPhone players can use Rec Soccer in the browser.
Does my whole team need to join?
No. You can follow schedules and standings on your own. Chat, RSVPs, sub requests, and payment tracking work best once your teammates are in, and one invite link brings them all over.
How do payments work?
For teams and facilities where we do not manage the money, Rec Soccer tracks fees and reminders while you pay outside the app using Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal, or your usual method. In leagues we run, we collect registration and league fees through Stripe checkout in the app, with receipts saved to your account.
I run a facility or league. What does it cost?
Two options. Run your own league on our tools, or let us rent your scheduled field time and run a Rec Soccer league there ourselves, the way we do outdoors in Blue Ash. See both models, then tell us about your fields and we will walk you through rollout and pricing.
I referee. Is there anything here for me?
If we run the league, yes. Apply once, keep your certifications on file, set your availability, and see each assignment with the teams, field, and kickoff. This covers the leagues Rec Soccer operates itself — today that is our outdoor league in Blue Ash. Facilities hosting their own league on our tools appoint their own officials. Refereeing a Rec Soccer league.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes, at any time from the app or from the account deletion page. Your data is removed per our privacy policy.
