How to Delete Your Rec Soccer Account

You can request that your Rec Soccer account and associated data be permanently deleted using either of the methods below. Both methods result in the same outcome.

Option 1: Delete from the App

  1. Open the Rec Soccer app on your device.
  2. Tap the Settings icon (gear icon in the sidebar or bottom navigation).
  3. Scroll down to the Account section.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted. Your account and data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

  1. Send an email to privacy@recsoccer.app from the email address associated with your Rec Soccer account.
  2. Include the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
  3. In the email body, state that you would like your account and associated data deleted.
  4. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.

Data That Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:

Data That May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for limited periods after account deletion as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

Third-Party Data

Rec Soccer uses third-party services that may independently retain certain data. Deletion of data held by these services is subject to their respective privacy policies:

  • Stripe (payment processing): stripe.com/privacy
  • Firebase / Google (authentication, database): Firebase Privacy
  • Apple App Store / Google Play (in-app purchases): Subject to Apple and Google's respective privacy policies.

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. You will not be able to recover your account or any associated data after deletion.
  • If you have an active Rec Pro subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
  • Any remaining Rec Coin balance will be forfeited upon account deletion.
  • If you are a team captain, we recommend transferring team ownership before deleting your account.
